Voter's Guide: Lindenhurst 2019-20 School Budget, Board Election
What you need to know for election day.

LINDENHURST, NY - Residents in the Lindenhurst School District will vote on the district's $163,312,822 proposed budget for the 2019-20 school year on Tuesday, May 21.
The proposal calls for a 1.64 percent increase in spending over the current year and the tax levy increase is 2.36 percent, which is within the tax levy cap.
Residents will also have an opportunity to elect three members to the Lindenhurst Board of Education for three-year terms starting on July 1.

Incumbents Linda Aniello and Edward Langone will both be running unopposed.
Jacquelyn Herig and Syed Hussain will be running for the seat left open by Robert Vitiello, who announced his resignation last June.

Polls will be open from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. at several locations including:
- Albany Avenue Elementary School
- Daniel Street Elementary School
- Harding Avenue Elementary School
- William Rall Elementary School
- Lindenhurst Middle School
