Welcoming Department Heads To Lindenhurst School District

The Lindenhurst Union Free School District welcomed Ms. Andrea Judge to her new role as coordinator of guidance.

LINDENHURST, NY - From Lindenhurst Union Free School District: When the 2018 academic year began, students were not the only ones welcomed to the Lindenhurst Union Free School District. Andrea Judge, LCSW, and F. Shaun Sudama were welcomed to their respective roles as coordinator of guidance, and coordinator of career and technical education and library media specialist, respectively.

Ms. Judge joined the district with more than 12 years of school counseling experience by way of the Queens Vocational and Technical High School in Long Island City. She holds her Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study in educational leadership from the College of Saint Rose. Additionally, she obtained a Master of
Social Work degree from Adelphi University, a Master of Science degree in school counseling from Long Island University and a Master of Science degree in secondary education from Dowling College. This was in addition to a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Stony Brook University.

Mr. F. Shaun Sudama joins the Lindenhurst Union Free School District by way of Nassau Boces in Westbury where he served as assistant principal. He also held the title of business teacher at Division Avenue High School in Levittown and the William Bryant High School in Long Island City. There he also served as the
coordinator of CTE, student activities and parent support, and the school’s student achievement program.

Mr. Sudama took part in the Post-Masters Educational Leadership Program at Stony Brook University where he obtained his certifications as a New York State school Building and School District Leader. He earned a Master of Science in adolescent education from Dowling College in Oakdale and a Bachelor of Science
degree in computer science and math with a major in business from St. Joseph’s College in Patchogue.

The district is honored to welcome all of its new members and is confident that they will be successful in their endeavors.
