West Babylon Man Seriously Injured in Huntington Station Crash
His vehicle crashed into a utility pole early Friday, police said.

A West Babylon man was seriously injured after his 1991 Mazda SUV crashed into a pole in Huntington Station early Friday, police said.
According to authorities, Giovanni Saccente, 50, was driving southbound on New York Avenue when his vehicle drove off the roadway and struck a utility pole north of Schwab Road at 2:20 a.m.
The Saccente, who suffered serious injuries, was transported to Huntington Hospital by Huntington Community First Aid Squad and was later transferred to North Shore University Hospital in Manhasset, where he remains hospitalized.

The vehicle was impounded for a safety check and the investigation is continuing.
