Why the sudden spending??? Hiding money??

As a longtime resident of the Village, I've taken notice to A LOT of less than scrupulous acts by our Village  The MIRACLE FIRE in the 80's that ONLY burned records of legal mother-daughter homes(forcing a now yearly tax and harassment from a two-family review board) is one that most residents who now have to suffer through a kangaroo court does NOT know about.  Most recently, private votes to build a firehouse the residents voted down at least 3 times, and $1M to buy new garbage trucks.  Stop spending money you don't have or need to hide.  I thought Gov Cuomo was shutting villages like this down.  Are they possibly hiding money for their forced retirement???
