$14,000 Stolen From Long Beach Recreation Ticket Office: Police
Three people are on the loose for the Sunday night burglary, police said.
LONG BEACH, NY — A burglary took place over the weekend at the Long Beach Recreation's Ticket Office.
When officers arrived just after 9:30 p.m. Sunday, they noticed the front door was forced open, police said.
Three cash registers were damaged, two cash boxes were forced open and a safe was found open, police said.

More than $14,000 was stolen. Additionally, 695 beach passes were taken, detectives said.
Three people left the location in a light-colored, four-door vehicle. Police are investigating the burglary.
