On Tuesday, November 26 members of the Long Beach Classroom Teachers Association and the Long Beach Schools Employees Association will be conducting informational picketing prior to the Board of Education meeting at 7PM to inform the public of the Board's unwillingness to fairly negotiate new contracts with 99% of the district's employees. All we are looking for is our fair share of the pie before it's fully consumed by raises for the superintendent and his assistants, raises for the principals and directors, a raise for the district's law firm, $500 an hour consultants, construction cost overruns, muni bond agents and attorneys, insurance agents, etc.
