Annual 10-Mile Long Beach Race Returns On Memorial Day Weekend

The "Race to Remember" is marking its 46th edition this month.

The 46th Annual City Manager's 10-Mile Race to Remember will take Memorial Day weekend.

The event is in memory of race founder Ralph Kaplan.

Advanced registration (either online or in-person) is $30, while it's $40 to sign-up on race day.

The course is chosen for its flat and fast terrain, starting at West Park Avenue and Laurelton Boulevard, entrants finish at Laurelton and the boardwalk.

Awards will be given out to the top four male and female finishers in age groups from 14 and under to 80+. The first to cross the tape from Long Beach, the wheelchair division and active military/veterans will also be recognized.

The race is Sunday morning, May 28.
