
Ophelia rains were upon us and I was stuck inside. I spent a lot of time here at this keyboard preparing my photo essay on the bread guy, Scott Knobler. So, like many of you, I had to get out.
I usually don't go out in the rain, camera in hand, especially with my brand new Nikon. But I wrapped it—and me—just fine and out we went.
It was a much better rain walk than I expected. If you keep an open mind, you can see beauty and fun—everywhere.

I saw it in the walkers, the joggers, even a lone biker.
The epe lumber doesn't absorb the water as readily as our old boardwalk so it's mirror like on these rain treks. The reflections of these "boarders" doing their thing was pretty cool.

So, if it's still raining when you read this, consider getting out there, if it's not—go the next time.
