Body Found In Water, Believed To Be Missing Man: Police
A 75-year-old man, who matched the description of a missing person, was found floating off a Long Beach pier, police said.
LONG BEACH, NY — A body was found on Thursday morning floating in the water off the Magnolia Fishing Pier, police said.
The body, found at 10:15 a.m., fit the description of a missing 75-year-old man, although police said, an official identification has not been made, police said.
Long Beach police received a call just before 8 a.m. about a missing person.

Police are investigating, but they said there are no immediate signs of foul play.
Long Beach police were assisted by Nassau County police, the US Coast Guard and the Town of Hempstead Constables.
