Boy's Jacket, iPhone Swiped By Pack Of 8 Others In Nassau On Thanksgiving Eve: Police
He was not injured, Nassau police say.
OCEANSIDE, NY — A boy was robbed of his jacket and an iPhone by a pack of eight others on Wednesday night in Oceanside, Nassau police said.
The boy was near the intersection of Fulton Avenue and Moore Avenue when he was approached by a group of around eight others, police said, adding that they swiped his jacket containing an iPhone 15 at around 9 p.m.
The group then chased the boy toward Lawsone Boulevard before bolting in an unknown direction, police said.

The iPhone 15 was recovered a short time later near Messick Avenue, and the boy was not injured, according to police.
The eight boys were all wearing assorted black clothing and were around 5 feet 8 to 10 inches tall, police said.

The investigation is ongoing, according to police.
Detectives are requesting anyone with information about the robbery to contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS, a confidential hotline, or call 911.
