Caught in the Sea's Net of Wonder

So much wonder in our backyard sea, but so much need to protect it too.

There is so much to love about having the sea in our backyard: Fishing, sailing, surfing, swimming, among them. But for those of us most in love with the sea—it's just being witness to the wonder.

Knowing the sea is from whence we came, feeling a oneness with all the life still within is a spiritual experience. When we see a porpoise leap or a whale breach, our hearts lift with it—we root for it to live on–safely.

We are captured by the wonder of it.

So when we see and hear of sea life, shore life, sharers of the globe on which trek, damaged by our presence we too are damaged.

I'd like you to know about a local group, called Stewards of the Sea, that is acting to keep that life safe. You may know the founder and many of the group's supporters. You may want to join them too. But most importantly, you might want to spread their message, advance their actions.

Stewards of the Sea held a boardwalk discussion recently with a noted Friend of the sea I think you might like to know about.

All I ask when you read my post, is that you listen to their message, do your part—save the wonder:
