Neighbors and Friends alike gathered around a beautiful Christmas Tree on Michigan Street last Saturday night. The tree which is located in front of RockeFOLEY Center, symbolizes the hopes and dreams of our block. Some of our neighbors are not in their homes, or still trying to get money from insurance companies. We lit the tree last year after Hurricane Sandy and we all decided to keep the tradition going this year. We sang Christmas carols in the snow storm just before lighting the 6ft. beauty! We all pray that our neighbors will be in their homes soon. I want to personally thank Bill and Jennifer Foley for opening their home to all of us for the after party! Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you all!
