FEMA is offering assistance to those recovering from Hurricane Ida. Residents of Nassau County can apply for FEMA Disaster Assistance by visiting DisasterAssistance.gov, or calling the FEMA mobile app or call the FEMA Helpline at 800-621-3362. Helpline operators are available from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily. You can also apply at a Disaster Recovery Center. To find one near you, visit DRC Locator (fema.gov).

The deadline to apply for FEMA disaster assistance is Monday, Dec. 6.
