City Of Long Beach: King And Queen Of The Beach Kids Surf Contest

Pre-registration is $25.00 at the Recreation Center, and Day of Event Registration is $30.00 (cash only) on the beach.

The Long Beach Recreation Department in cooperation with Skudin Surf will hold its Annual “King and Queen of the Beach” Kids Surf Contest on Sunday, September 12, 2021. The event will take place between Riverside and Long Beach Boulevards on the beach and is in memory of Brian Ward and Danny Bobis. Registration takes place at 7:00 a.m. This contest is for all children 15 years old and under.

Pre-registration is $25.00 at the Recreation Center, and Day of Event Registration is $30.00 (cash only) on the beach. All registrants receive a t-shirt. The Brian Ward King and Queen of the Beach Trophies will be awarded to the overall winners; A Danny Bobis Trophy will also be awarded; Trophies to top 3 boys & girls surfers in the following divisions:
Super Groms (8 & under), Groms (9- 11), Juniors (12 -15).
