City Of Long Beach: Labor Day Race Winners

The Long Beach Department of Parks and Recreation held the Annual Robert C. McAvoy Labor Day Five-Mile Run this past Monday. The race sponsored by McAvoy Plumbing was held under sunny skies with a beautiful breeze, a perfect day for a race. The first Physically Challenged finisher was Peter Hawkins with a time of 25:10. The Overall Male finisher was Daryn Johnson with a time of 29.50 and the Overall Female finisher was Nicole Unger with a time of 31:51 For a list of all race finishers click here. Thank you to our Police Department, Police Auxiliary and Fire Department for keeping all of our runners safe during the race.
