Long Beach School District was recently exposed when the common core test results were released last month and showed how terrible the scores were. LB school district runs a dual parallel curriculum for "gifted/magnate" students and a second sysytem for minority kids and the bluecollar kids who aren't admitted to the program. As a result the tax payer is paying double the amount of taxes for defacto segragation. This is a common tactic the teachers union and administrators pull in school districts with high minority concentrations.
