Artists in Partnership, Inc. in collaboration with True Live Productions & Musicnoir.com, presents an eclectic musical mix of Long Beach Local Bands and musicians this Sunday, September 4th, from noon to 5 p.m. at Kennedy Plaza in front of Long Beach City Hall.
Johanna Mathieson-Ellmer, Director of AIP and music coordinator for Arts in the Plaza stated, "the "events" portion of the Quiksilver competition may have been cancelled, but "leave it to the locals" to come out and give their time and talents to kick off the Labor Day and Surfing week festivities."
The public is welcome to join along with the many artists and photographers who showcase their work at the weekly Arts in the Plaza event for a day of free visual and musical delights.

Ben Metzger, producer, event curator and musician, explained that "there will be short sets by full bands and solo artists with all-star jams and collaborations, and surprise guests!

Come on down to A Whale's Tale in the West End of Long Beach for an After-Party from 6 to 10 p.m. featuring Music, Food and Jammin' with many of the musicians from the Arts in the Plaza event.. True Live is proud to be a part of this free showcase of local music and art.
