Police Respond To Billy Crystal Film Set On Long Island
A set for a movie was mistaken as a real accident, and the police and fire department responded to make sure everyone was safe.

Long Beach's first responders always answer the call. Even when the accident they're racing to help at is fake. Early Monday, the Long Beach police and fire departments received a call for a car that had driven into Slices & Ices on West Beech Street. Responders raced to the scene, only to find out the crash was part of a movie being filmed in the city that features Long Beach native Billy Crystal.
"We Are Unsatisfied," starring Crystal's fellow New Yorker Ben Schwartz as a failing stand-up comedian who is forced to move home to Long Island from Los Angeles, focuses on the unlikely friendship he starts with an alcoholic dermatologist played by Crystal.
The response to the call wasn't a total waste, though. According to the Long Beach fire department, some of the volunteers stayed on the set to assist with the filming and might even appear in the film.
