Getting High, His Way.

There is a lot to be thankful for in America that goes beyond a sagging table full of food. Many of us don’t think of some of those things. We take for granted our freedom and safety. We take for granted those who are responsible for those freedoms. Every day is a good day to remember them.

Every time I use my computer to write to you I think about how hard it is for anyone to stop me from writing what I want to say to you. Americans died for that ease of mind. Americans died so that this Long Beach Patch can express ideas from me and you and many others. Ideas that might not be appreciated by our government. But ideas we are free to speak, without the kick of a boot at our door.
