1. Politicians pass laws for power, control, money, and/or votes.
2. The weatherman can't predict the weather tomorrow. Weather records are for only a short period of time. There appears to be cycles. At times the earth is warmer and at other times colder.
3. No one knows whether or not changes in the temperature of the earth are caused by man. Maybe the earth warms from sun or planet cycles, sunspots, ocean currents, or thousands of other possible causes. There is no proof of causation.
4. Politicians pass laws for power, control, money, and votes. "The largest threat to freedom, democracy, the market economy and prosperity is ... the ambitious, arrogant, unscrupulous ideology of environmentalism." (Statement of Czech President Klaus) A law was proposed in Britain that every citizen be required to carry a carbon card. WHAT? Then gasoline would be rationed, electricity rationed, air plane usage rationed, energy rationed, food rationed, everything will be rationed based on your carbon footprint. Government will then have power and control over everyone.
5. There is nothing wrong with getting rid of or reducing pollution.
