With all of the hustle and bustle of getting ready for Christmas and making sure that everything is perfect. We often lose sight of the true meaning of Christmas. It's more than the gifts that are given, but rather a time of appreciation. A time of giving and being grateful for every blessing that we experience everyday. Lauren's House 4 Positive Change participated in giving gifts to families whose parent(s) are incarcerated this holiday season.
Friday, the youth spent the day passing out Christmas gifts, in which the youth at Lauren's House made to seniors at Lytton Gardens. Taking time to appreciate our seniors in the same way that volunteer mentors and tutors give back to the youth at Lauren's House everyday.
