LONG BEACH, NY — Richard Santoro is no stranger to helping people. Santoro, who grew up in Rockville Centre, has been a member of the Long Beach Volunteer Fire Department since 2000.

In commemoration of the 9/11 terror attacks 20th anniversary, Patch spoke to Santoro about his experience those first days at Ground Zero.
