Jet Skier Hurt On Waves, Hospitalized: Police

POINT LOOKOUT, NY — A jet ski operator was injured on Sunday afternoon in Point Lookout.

Marine Bureau officers were patrolling when they were flagged down as the jet skier lost control of the machinery, injuring his hip while jumping the waves, police said.

The victim was provided medical attention and taken to the West Marina in Point Lookout where an ambulance took him to a hospital for further evaluation and treatment.

Police did not provide any additional details of the incident.
