LBPD: DWI, Assault Charges in Long Beach

Long Beach Police reported the following charges. Arrests are accusations and do not imply guilt.

• Nov. 3: Charles Burns, 22, of Long Beach, charged with tampering with physical evidence.
• Nov. 5: Michael Kessler, 25, of Long Beach, charged with fourth-degree grand larceny and seventh-degree possession of a controlled substance.
• Nov. 9: Scott Gruber, 52, of Long Beach, charged with DWI and having an active Nassau County bench warrant.
• Nov. 9: John Spengler, 47, of Long Beach, charged with leaving the scene of an accident involving an injury.
• Nov. 7: Luke Ammirati, 26, of Long Beach, charged with third-degree assault.
• Nov. 9: Hector Cardenas, 23, of Long Beach, charged with DWI.
