LI Gas Prices Slip More Than 10 Cents In Week: AAA

LONG ISLAND, NY — Gasoline prices are slowly dropping. It has been falling since topping $5.00 per gallon on average across the island last month.

In New York, it's down to $4.83, cut by 11 cents in just a week. It's similar in Nassau and Suffolk counties, where the current average is $4.70, according to AAA. It was $4.86 a week ago.

Even more good news, as there are several stations with lower prices than the average, GasBuddy.com reported.
