Long Beach Awarded Second NYU Project

NYU Wagner School Capstone Program students will help develop a transportation plan for Long Beach.

Long Beach won a second year project with the New York University Wagner School Capstone Program.

Four NYU students will be assigned to the City of Long Beach and will spend the academic year working with officials and Sustainable Long Island on transportation, the city announced. Students will be studying parking and circulation issues.

This past year, five NYU graduate planning students worked with the city to develop a “green infrastructure toolkit.”
