Long Beach-Based Organization Gives Back To Struggling Families
Long Island Reach donated 32 backpacks to families in need.

LONG BEACH, NY — A Long Beach-based organization is committed to helping local youth.
Long Island Reach, an agency that provides rehabilitative and treatment services, donated 32 backpacks to families in need across Nassau County.
The bags were filled with various age-appropriate supplies and delivered directly to households in Long Beach, Franklin Square and Port Washington. Backpacks were also distributed to Long Island Reach's teen pregnancy alternative school program.
