Long Beach Fireworks Set for Friday

Get ready, because Long Beach's Fireworks Spectacular is coming this weekend.

The fireworks were originally supposed to take place in July, but were rescheduled. Now, they're on for Friday.

The fun starts at 3 p.m. with food vendors lining the boardwalk. At 8 p.m., come to the concert featuring former American Idol contestant Robbie Rosen and former Voice contestant Marissa Ann. Get your spot on the boardwalk early or bring your beach chairs and set up on the beach.

At dark, watch the highlight of the evening: a stunning fireworks display by Bay Fireworks. The colorful pyrotechnics will go off from a barge off the Long Beach shoreline. Residents will be able to observe the fireworks display along the entire boardwalk and on the beaches. The fireworks rain date is Saturday.
