Long Beach Holds Annual Halloween In The Plaza
The Oct. 30 event features a costume parade and trick or treating for children.

LONG BEACH, NY — Kids will get a "treat" out of the annual Halloween in the Plaza event. Youngsters can attend in costume for the most fun.
It's scheduled from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sat., Oct. 30.
Part of the holiday agenda includes Storytime with authors Darren Sardelli and Kara Raphael Stobe. A costume parade follows at 11 a.m.

The day also features a hula hoop dance party and live music by the Studio Noir Music School.
Children will get to trick or treat around the plaza all day, the city of Long Beach said on its Facebook page.
