Long Beach Police Host National Night Out Block Party

It takes place Aug. 1 from 4-7 p.m.

LONG BEACH, NY — Residents can participate in the National Night Out with the Long Beach Police Department.

The Aug. 1 Kennedy Plaza block party is for all ages. Children can take part in the bounce house and other activities. Music and food are also expected from 4-7 p.m.

During the event, families will learn about the prevention of drug use and crime.
