Long Beach Police Investigating Shooting On Magnolia Blvd
One man was shot in the stomach, and bullets struck a nearby home.

Long Beach police are investigating after a local man was shot on Magnolia Boulevard Tuesday night.
According to Newsday, the gunshots were detected by the city's Shot Spotter system at 5:40 p.m. Tuesday on Magnolia Boulevard, south of West Hudson Street.
The Long Beach Herald reported that four gunshots were fired, and that one grazed a local man's abdomen. Bullets also struck a nearby home and fence, but no one else was injured.

Police told the Herald that the man left the scene and took himself to the Long Beach Emergency Room for treatment of the gunshot. Doctors there notified police, who came to interview the man. But police say he was uncooperative.
The investigation is ongoing.
