Long Beach Residents Can Perform In First Porch Fest

LONG BEACH, NY — Long Beach is coming together in the form of music. For the first time, the city will host Porch Fest, where bands or musicians perform from their front lawns or outside other homes in the neighborhood.

Applications are due by March 31.

It's a fundraiser, so all performers will participate on a volunteer basis.

The Porch Fest is scheduled for May 20, with musicians expected to be available from 2-5 p.m.

Bands must adhere to the City of Long Beach noise ordinances and must keep amplified music at or below 65 decibels.
