Long Beach Seeks Candidates For Wall Of Fame

Eligible candidates should have at least two years of attendance at Long Beach High School or 10 years in the community.

LONG BEACH, NY — The Long Beach Public School District is accepting nominations for the high school's Wall of Fame.

It was unveiled in 1996 as a way to honor current and former members of the Long Beach community who have made significant contributions locally or to the world at large.

To nominate a candidate for enshrinement, download the form online or pick one up at any Long Beach public school, the Administration building or the high school athletic office.

Candidates must have attended Long Beach High School for at least two years, or been associated with the community for no less than 10 years.

Nominations will be accepted until June 1.
