Long Island Gas Prices Skyrocket; US To Ban Russian Oil

LONG BEACH, NY — With word from the White House that President Joe Biden is planning to ban Russian oil imports, prices are already surging.

In New York, the average is $4.37 per gallon, a record for the state.

Checking the cheapest Long Beach gas stations from Gasbuddy.com:

The $4.29 per gallon at the Mobil at 203 E. Park Ave. It's a jump to $4.43 per gallon at the Speedway gas station, 450 Long Beach Blvd.

Tack on another dime per gallon, as the Mobil at 390 W. Park Ave. will set you back $4.53 per gallon.

The national average is $4.18, according to AAA.
