Long-Time Long Beach Mixed-Media Artist Opens Grand Exhibition at Briarcliffe College in Bethpage through September 28, 2016
Naomi Diracles Displays Her Art Show with All Art for Sale to Help Rescue-Animals on Long Island
Naomi Diracles is a long-time Long Beach, NY resident. She has been an expressive artist for most of her life. When Diracles was a child growing up in Manhattan, her parents were not artists, and she was not exposed to art. She was always a curious, expressive person, who needed to find ways to express color, emotion, and story telling. Diracles has been creating collages and mixed media works for many years. She enjoys the selection and manipulation of materials with collage work.
Diracles' work is currently on display at Briarcliffe College, 1055 Stewart Avenue, Bethpage, NY 11516.
She was given an opportunity to show her work with a purpose. Lisa L. Cangemi, Art Curator for Briarcliffe College campuses (Bethpage and Patchogue) was asked by Diracles to help her 'put her work on display to sell for the benefit of raising money for rescue-animals on Long Island.' Diracles is an animal-lover, who has had many family pets through the years. She wants to raise money for the Almost Home L.I. support shelter.
