Man Booked On Murder Charge Stemming From March Fatal Shooting: Police

LONG BEACH, NY — A Long Beach man has been arrested for a fatal shooting that took place in March.

Shaun Teemer, 23, was charged with second-degree murder and was scheduled for a Tuesday arraignment in Hempstead, detectives said.

During the overnight hours of March 19, a man was critically wounded by gunfire on East Broadway in Long Beach. Humberto Manuel Francis Hernandez, 37, of Queens, died five days later from his injuries, police said.
