Medical Marijuana Dispensary Location Proposed for Nassau County

A NYS-approved medical marijuana manufacturing company that will dispense in Nassau County has proposed to open a dispensary in Lake Success.

The dispensary would be called Lake Success Patient Resource Center, according to aDepartment of Health application filed by Bloomfield Industries Inc.

The application said the business, located at 2001 Marcus Ave., would have the following hours of operation:

• Monday-Friday: 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
• Saturday: 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
• Sunday: closed

Bloomfield Industries Inc., which will manufacture in Queens, will also open dispensaries in Manhattan, Onondaga and Erie counties.

Although Lake Success Patient Resource Center would be the lone medical marijuana dispensary in Nassau County, manufacturing company Columbia Care NY LLC is set to open a dispensary in Suffolk County.

The DOH has not shared any applications submitted by Columbia Care NY LLC.
