Nassau Man Arrested For Having Illegal Rifle: Police
Police found the rifle after they were called to the Coast Guard station at Jones Beach for an incident involving the man.

A Long Beach man was arrested Thursday afternoon after police say they found an illegal rifle in his home.
According to Nassau police, officers responded to a call to the US Coast Guard Station at Jones Beach for an incident involving Justin Taylor, 25, of West Hudson Street. Police began an investigation that led them to Taylor's home. Inside, police say they found an altered semi-automatic rifle along with fully loaded magazines. Taylor was placed under arrest without incident.
Taylor is charged with three counts of third-degree criminal possession of a weapon. He is scheduled to be arraigned on Friday in First District Court in Hempstead.
