Permits Go On Sale For Garage Parking At LIRR Station

The city of Long Beach is charging a discounted $250 rate for residents.

LONG BEACH, NY — Yearly permits to park at the Long Beach garage for the Long Island Rail Road station are about to expire.

Applications for 2022-2023 go on sale starting June 13.

The clerk's office will handle the permit processing weekdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The city will hold a few off-hours opportunities to purchase permits, on three straight Wednesdays:

June 15: 7 a.m.- 9 a.m.

June 22: 5 p.m. -7:15 p.m.

June 29: 5 p.m - 7:15 p.m.

It's $250 for Long Beach residents and $300 for non-residents of the barrier island.
