Police Catch Graffiti Sprayer In The Act: Long Beach PD

The Long Beach Police Department reported the following arrests for the week ending Aug. 19.

• Dylan Manuel Simon, 27, of Kew Gardens, was arrested on Aug. 15 on Long Beach Boulevard and charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and on an active Long Beach City Court bench warrant.
• John D. Rodriguez-Abreu, 31, of Oceanside, was arrested in Freeport on Aug. 16 on an active Long Beach City Court bench warrant.
• Alexander R. Sawchenko, 68, of Long Beach, was arrested on Aug. 16 on East Hudson Street and charged with DWI and aggravated DWI.
• Rawil R. Santos Mendoza, 20, of Bayshore, was arrested on Aug. 17 on West Park Avenue and charged with driving with a suspended license.
• David O. Medrano, 28, of Freeport, was arrested on Aug. 18 on New York Avenue and charged with making graffiti and possession of a graffiti instrument.
• Klah J. Smith, 33, of Brooklyn, was arrested on Aug. 18 at Long Beach Police Department headquarters and charged with criminal impersonation.
• Ryan James Nolan, 35, of Long Beach, was arrested on East Park Avenue on Aug. 18 and charged with DWI.
