Police: Man Charged in Fatal Long Beach Shooting

Antonio Webb charged with second-degree murder in shooting of Tyrenzo Brown this weekend, cops said.

A man has been charged in a fatal shooting outside of a Long Beach apartment complex last weekend, according to Nassau County Police.

Cops charged Antonio Webb, 22, of Long Beach, with second-degree murder and second-degree criminal possession of a weapon Wednesday.

Webb is believed to be responsible for an early morning shooting on Birch Court Saturday that killed Tyrenzo Brown, 28, of Long Beach, police said.

Long Beach Police responded to the apartment complex at 12:55 a.m. to reports of shots fired and discovered Brown, who had a gunshot wound, cops said.

Brown was rushed to a nearby hospital but died of his injuries shortly after, police said.

Webb will be arraigned Thursday at First District Court in Hempstead.
