Update: Cops ID Man Shot, Killed in Long Beach
Homicide detectives are looking for information on early morning shooting on Birch Court in Long Beach.

A man has died after he was shot in Long Beach early Saturday morning, according to Nassau County Police.
Long Beach Police responded to Birch Court at 12:55 a.m. to reports of shots fired, cops said. Responding officers discovered Tyrenzo Brown, 28, of Long Beach, with a gunshot wound, police said.

Brown was rushed to a nearby hospital but died of his injuries at the hospital, police said.
Nassau County Homicide detectives are investigating the shooting.
