Police Report: Arrests for DWIs, Burglary
The LBPD/NCPD/NYS blotters on local incidents.

The following information was supplied by the New York State and Nassau County Police Departments. A criminal charge is only an accusation, and does not indicate convictions.
Arrests
- Paul Levesque, 40, of Long Beach was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated on the Meadowbrook Parkway on Sept. 29. According to the New York State Police, troopers were dispatched to a report of a one-car accident on the southbound side of the parkway south of Merrick Road at about 6 p.m. The driver of a red Toyota lost control of his vehicle and entered the west shoulder before striking a tree. The driver, Levesque, was treated for minor injuries at Nassau University Medical Center in East Meadow and charged with DWI and traffic violations.
- Fernando Gonzalez, 56, of Long Beach was arrested and charged with driving without a license on Ocean Avenue in Lynbrook on Sept. 10.
- Matthew Puma, 22, of Oceanside was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated at East Park Avenue and Roosevelt Boulevard on Sept. 30.
- Michael Zelenka, 40, of Brentwood was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated at West Park Avenue on Oct. 1.
- Kishawn Jefferson, 20, of Long Beach was arrested and charged with burglary at West Walnut Street on Sept. 28.
- James Diamond, 19, of Long Beach was arrested and charged with burglary at West Walnut Street on Sept. 29.
Theft
- A GPS system and an E-ZPass were taken from an unlocked vehicle while it was parked at the Long Island Rail Road station at Island Park on Sept. 30.
Criminal Mischief

- An unknown suspect or suspects broke the rear windshield of a vehicle while it was parked on Long Beach Road in Island Park on Sept. 29.
