Reflekt Polarized Open

Join us July 18-19 for East End Volleyball’s beach volleyball tournament sponsored by Reflekt Polarized Sunglasses. The tournament is open to players of all skill levels. The event will take place on the beach between Riverside Blvd and Edwards Blvd in Long Beach, NY.

Saturday’s event will be for men’s and women’s doubles. Divisions include open, AA, A & B. Open is the highest division and is equivalent to AAA in baseball. Lower divisions A and B are for beginner players looking to gain experience and improve their beach game.

Sunday play includes juniors and coed doubles. Junior divisions include boys & girls 18 & under, 16 & under, 14 & under and 12 & under. Coed divisions available are AA, A & B.

• Saturday: Open divisions 8 am, other divisions 8:30 am
• Sunday: 9 - 9:30 am for all divisions

Notes:

• Divisions with less than 8 teams may be merged with other divisions at tournament director`s discretion
• Merged divisions will still have playoffs for championship pool pts. MO, MAA, MA, MB, WO, WAA, WA, WB receive EEVB Volley America Grand Prix Pts
• Prizes awarded to top 4 teams in each division (3 teams in divisions with less than 8 teams)

Prize Money:

Open Divisions: $90/team given back as prize money:

1st: 50%, 2nd: 30%, 3rd: 20% (2 3rds)

CAA: $250

Prize Money Breakdown

Fees:

• $10 late fee for any team that pays on the beach
• $100 open divisions
• $60 for all other divisions
• $25 for MA, MB, WA, WB, CA & CB divisions if prepaid by Thursday midnight before tournament

Volley America Membership required for all players. $15/player ($20 if done at the beach) All memberships run from 1/1 to 12/31 or the calendar year. Membership fees will be used to fund the $35,000 Grand Prix for all same sex & coed divisions, a National Ranking System, end of season championships and insurance coverage.
