Del Prete Construction - Simply The Best!!

My husband and I bought a house in Long Beach in the fall of 2008 - it was a real fixer-upper and needed to be gutted and completely renovated. New to town, we started looking for a contractor. We met a woman in Shine's who told us that her husband WON'T LET ANYONE WORK ON THEIR HOUSE EXCEPT ROB DEL PRETE!! That sounded like a solid recommendation, so we added him to our list of potential contractors.

We called about 5 contractors in all - Rob was the only one to return our call immediately. He was the only one to come to our house with all of his sub-contractors. And he was the only one to listen to our ideas and provide us with a reasonable estimate.

Now my husband WON'T LET ANYONE WORK ON OUR HOUSE EXCEPT ROB DEL PRETE!! Rob is on site every day with his subs. He is an amazingly efficient worker - he works quickly, but always completes every last detail. He is an artist and will make sure that even the little things look perfect. His work is solid and beautiful.

We had Rob do the work on our yard the following year and build a cabana the next. Rob built the beach house that we always dreamed of having. Everyone who came to our house loved it -- and always commented on the work. It was a piece of art.

Then came Sandy - ruining all of the work on the first floor.

Right after the storm, Rob and his crew came to our house to assess our immediate needs. We had a new furnace, hot water heater, and electrical panel in no time and were able to move back into the house. We don't know what we would have done without him. During these months after the storm, we have come to fully understand and appreciate how fortunate we are to have Rob as our contractor. He returns every phone call and addresses any issue right away. We trust his judgment and his advice is always solid. 

We know that we were unlucky to have been hit by Sandy -- but we also know that we are extremely lucky to have found Rob Del Prete.
