On July 29 at 1:25 p.m., a Milton Court resident reported an iPad was stolen from his unlocked vehicle overnight.

On July 30 at 4:44 p.m., a N. Forest Avenue resident reported she was the victim of gift card scam.

On Aug. 1 at 4:31 p.m., a Seitz Avenue resident reported his bicycle was stolen while it was at the LIRR Rockville Centre Station.

On Aug. 2 at 21:49 p.m., a Valley Stream resident reported her pocketbook was stolen while she was at a N. Park Avenue business.

On Aug. 3 at 11:10 a.m., a Monroe Street resident reported her handicapped parking permit was stolen from her unlocked vehicle.

Criminal Mischief

On Aug. 1 at 11:35 a.m., a Merrick Road business owner reported his glass window was broken by an unknown person.

On Aug. 5 at 1:32 a.m., a N. Village Avenue business owner reported her glass window was broken.

Leaving the Scene

On July 31 at 6 p.m., a driver reported her car was struck by a car that left the scene while she was parked in Municipal Parking Field 3.

On Aug. 3 at 7:02 a.m., a motorist reported his vehicle was struck by a car that left the scene while in the vicinity of N. Long Beach Road.

Arrest

On Aug. 5 at 7:08 p.m., Salvatore Laspisa, 50, of Long Beach, was arrested and charged with third-degree assault in the vicinity of Front Street, Rockville Centre.
