Duo Charged With Attempting to Make Purchase at Nassau Pet Store Using Fake Credit Cards: Police
The two were arrested on Thursday.

LYNBROOK, NY - A Brooklyn couple were arrested for attempting to make a purchase at a Lynbrook pet store using fake credit cards on Thursday afternoon, according to Nassau Police.
On Wednesday, 21-year-old Mamadou Ndiaye and 18-year-old Ajani Jones were at Shake a Paw on 1 Atlantic Avenue when they tried to make a purchase with fraudulent credit cards, police said.
When they returned on Thursday, the Lynbrook Police were called and officers conducted a vehicle and traffic stop, placing them both under arrest without incident on Merrick Road at Earle Avenue, police said.

At the time of the arrest, officers found Ndiaye to be in possession of a forged credit card and forged Florida driver’s license, Jones was found in possession of five forged credit cards and checks, police said.
Ndiaye is charged with two counts of second degree possession forged instrument and third degree grand larceny, police said.

Jones is charged with six counts of second degree possession forged instrument and third degree grand larceny, police said.
Both will be arraigned on Friday.
