Search On For Oceanside Restaurant Robber: Police
Police say the man took over $200 from the restaurant.

OCEANSIDE, NY. — An unknown man was still at large Sunday after he held up the register at a Long Beach Road restaurant, police said.
Nassau County police said the man entered Sobol restaurant at 10:48 a.m. Sunday and demanded money from the cash register, which an employee gave to him. The men then left the restaurant on foot with $210 in cash, police said.
Police described the man as white, between 30 and 40 years-old, standing 5-feet, 7-inches with brown hair and a beard. Police said the man was wearing a grey jacket, grey pants and white shoes with a beanie at the time of the incident, and have encouraged anyone with information on his whereabouts to contact crime stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS, or call 911.
