Nutrition Tip:
Breakfast is the most important meal of the day? Honestly, I lean towards saying dinner is the most important meal of the day. Breakfast is extremely significant (most nutritionists recommend consuming one-third of our daily caloric intake at breakfast). However, I believe we need to focus more on dinner. A “calorie” by definition is a unit of energy; our activity is very low typically after dinner because we need to sleep. We will discuss the “not all calories are created equal” concept next week. For dinner eat a lean meat (chicken, fish, turkey, lean beef) never fried, and a bunch of vegetables. I would recommend consuming your whole grain complex carbohydrates earlier in the day. 8pm kitchen is closed.
