She Escaped Her Career Cage. Can You?

In my last essay, I spoke about meeting a young lady on our boardwalk wearing a beautiful hat.

Her name is Jenny, and she made a career change that freed her from her previous choice—a lawyer.

Jenny is like many people who are urged to get into certain careers for money and prestige. It works if they happen to like that path. But often, they don’t, and their lives are not happy.

Young Jenny met people who warned her about her initial career choice, but she did so anyway.

She also met people like Victor, who loved music so much Jenny said he was “elsewhere" when speaking about it. He and others touched her, nurturing her passion.

Step by step, person after person, Jenny finally flew to where she is now, a pianist and teacher.

Jenny is happy!
